Title: Into the Future "Into the Future" is from my abstract series Cave Paintings. I photographed this image in a giant cavern 240 meters (800 feet) below the earth's surface, lit only by electric lights directed onto the wall. I wanted to convey the anxiety and apprehension I have about humanity's future. As a mother and two children walked toward the cavern wall, the grandfather hesitated for a split second. That allowed me to capture his ghostly image and at the same time create this surreal, chaotic scene.
